Make Connections to Foster Volunteer Programs and Partnerships
From sharing your story to supporting campaigns, there’s a role for everyone. Help us build visibility, drive progress, and make a difference in the lives of those affected by appendix cancer.
Volunteer Opportunities
Blood Centers
Cancer patients may need blood transfusions due to a surgical procedure. Blood donations are always appreciated.
Blood centers can use volunteers to assist with blood drives with greeting donors or serving snacks and juice.
Cancer Centers
Cancer centers often use greeters to assist patients with directions to their appointments.
Patients enjoy art, music, and reading activities with volunteers.
Offering a Ride
IF you have a friend, neighbor, or family member who is traveling to a medical appointment, it is nice to have a person be with you at your appointment or procedure.
Corporate Partnerships
Partner with a Local Business
Some businesses will designate a day for patrons to make a purchase, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to your organization in exchange for you advertising the event.
Charity Event or Gala
Plan an evening with dinner, cocktail hour, or entertainment with raffles, and guest speakers.
Host a Fundraiser

Honor & Memorial Fundraising
Honor the memory of a loved one by creating a fundraising page to share stories, photos, and invite others to donate in their honor.
